Can't install wp 10 on limits 640XL

Hello, I have been enjoying my 640 XL for almost a month, so decided to check out myself what does WP 10 look like. But although I have enrolled as an insider it shows me that no builds are available for me. Tried with different account, no luck. It doesn't even give me an option to choose slow or fast ring. Has anyone managed to install wp10 on 640 xl?

Nothing special, what does it supposed to show? I guess first windows insider should show that there is a pending update, but it says that there are no builds Can anyone try to install windows insider on 640XL and at least check if there are available builds?

The W10TP downloads from phone update.

Yes, exactly. Nothing in the insider app, no options to select fast or slow ring, no updates in settings.

Windows 10 Technical preview Doesn't support upgrade from GDR2 just yet
Wait couple of weeks then it might be available
Once its available you will know from Microsoft twitter

GDR 2 = Update 2

As it said above me its update 2 , maybe the guy is clueless

Very quite few devices received the update but not all devices. Let's keep fingers crossed. There is some problem with OS present in 640XL and it is restricting the builds. Moreover, a new build released on 14/15 last week should have been made available but it didn't for all. The OS in 640XL is solid, when compared to Win10 on my 1020.

some 640's and 640XL's are getting the W10M update and some are not There's glitch. It's coming

yeah,i managed to install win 10 on my nokia 640 Xl and it works very smoothly on it.

I have installed up to build 10536.1004, but even after re-enrolling in the fast ring, phone update does not find build 10547 for the 640XL. Has anyone else managed to receive 10547 on the 640XL (mine is the AT&T single SIM model, unlocked) ?

10536.1004 is the latest W10M build. You may have been misguided by a post on the main page that listed the 10547 in a short paragraph as mobile (I pointed this out to Daniel, but it hasn't been corrected. 10547 is for desktop only though.

btw. why did we resurrect this obsolete thread from 4 months ago when we all know that we can now install W10M on the 640XL?
