My Nokia Lumia 630 doesnt show the start screen, kindly advice how to reactivate it

I might have turned off my start screen on my Nokia Lumia 630. Kindly advice on how this can be turned on i.e so that im able to use the shortcuts

If you have the app list just try pinning an app to the start screen.

Long press on the app -> tap pin to start
