    Is this even a possibility? I bought the 635 when it came out and was hoping for something more powerful.

    On the MS page for the 640, buried down in the fine print they mention Cricket, TMO, and Metro only. All GSM carriers. I'd say you are out of luck.

    Keep in mind that the 635 was released on Sprint/Boost/Virgin very late, as in December/January. It's possible they may do the same with the 640. Sprint says they're committed to Windows phone so they may end up skipping the mid range and go to the W10 flagships. That'd be my guess.

    I'm still on Sprint but I bought the 640 on att to try and I love it. I wish it was on Sprint but they are terrible about non prepaid phone selection.
