Why don't I have a network signal on my 930?

no network signal on 930

hi- i just switched to my lumia 930 and cannot get a network signal. wifi works fine. i have switched my sim and done a hard reset without any change leaving me with the conclusion that the hardware radio/antenna is damaged.

How do i repair this myself or where is it best to get the repair done?

I am in Melbourne, Australia on the vodafone network.

Do You have the ability to try a separate/different sim card?

Had the same thing with my 930 on arrival (I bought from a guy extending his contract). Ended up giving it off to Nokia Care for repair. No problems with warranty but... they had to exchange the entire motherboard to fix this. Took them about 3 weeks to process this. Not to mention they added 2 scratches on screen, one on the frame and one on the back (all small, but if you know they're there, it matters). Hint: make detailed photos of your phone before you give it to repair.

I doubt you'll be able to DIY and if you're covered by warranty it's really pointless.
