MS Availability Page No Longer Lists AT&T Variant of 830

The MS Availability Page no longer lists the AT&T variant of 830. It has also changed, allowing the user to select the country.

Availability in North America - Microsoft - Global

I don't want to overreact to this, but I can't help wonder if it's not listed there because it's never going to get the update ;-)

Looks like they've also listed the 640 LTE for AT&T, which they don't carry yet, and do NOT list the 640 XL LTE, which AT&T does carry. It only lists a country variant for that.

Probably a work in progress. I wouldn't get too worked up about it just yet. It's definitely not accurate.

Ahh, I'm not worked up about it - but it's good advice anyway ;-) After being through many screwings by AT&T I'm always waiting for the next one!

I've been hoping for this update for the last 3 months for my wife's phone and just last week for mine when I had to replace my beloved 920 with the 830 as a replacement device. I know there are many others that have been waiting since Nov 2014 for the firmware update. I'm crossing my fingers that we'll see it in the near future.
