Below are screenshots taken immediately after I unboxed my new AT&T Lumia 640 XL LTE RM-1063 (purchased from Microsoft USA). They were taken before installing the SIM card (just in case that might change the bands).

Q: what application is that one in the photo showing bands??
A: It's called Field Test Mode. Most, if not all smartphones, have a similar function.
1. open the phone app and dial ##3282#
2. tap Accept
3. tap ... at the bottom and tap settings
4. Under 'Network type', change it from Automatic to Manual
5. another box will appear, 'Supported bands (select at least one)', tap on it
now all the bands supported on the phone will be displayed.
