Is the screen sensitivity issue.

I hate casually scrolling and it registering the initial screen contact as a tap to open an app, tweet or whatever I am doing at the time. No matter what sensitivity setting I have selected it does this.

You are lucky. I had the screaming wild nutty screens, until I got a firm case to put it in.

Edit to ad

A nice firm case will solve most problems with touch problem.

Most touch problems are caused by bending the phone, even slightly.

I had that when I got it, but I have not had a Phantom
Touch for about 8 months, I use a hard case and try to avoid crouching and having my thigh flex on it. Your thigh has a lot of power in it...if you bend over or swat, a lot of power goes out on the phone in your pocket.
