So, I have now come into possession of a mint (refurbished) 1520 unlocked, a very good 930 unlocked, and my current daily, an 830 locked to AT&T.

I am struggling to decide which of these 3 should be my daily. The other two will get sold. I am leaning towards the 930, as I think that is a fantastic phone. However, I had one before and left it because of lack of LTE. Mostly, this was an issue when tethering the Surface to the phone to do work in areas where wifi was not available.

So, I am thinking of throwing a 920 or a 635 in the Surface carry bag, to use for those emergency LTE needs, and use the 930 the rest of the time.

I think the 1520 is just too big. The 830 is a great phone, and I like it a lot. But, side by side, it is very hard not to be drawn to the 930.

I have not used a 1520 as a daily before, but the 930 is the best phone I've ever used.

So, I know this is the 930 thread, but help me out - 1520, 930, or 830?

I use a 1520 as a daily. Can't beat it. However, base on the design alone, given the opportunity, I'd grab the 930 in a NY minute. It is a very professional looking and at the same time, a gorgeous phone. WinXM would be awesome on this device.

Jazmac you convinced me. I loved the 930 I had before - it is really a nice machine.

Think I'll have to order a case, so I an start using it.

Love my 930 and yes, WinXM is beautiful on it.
Its gotta looks great on that device. WinXM looks fantastic on my 1520. I launched One Note for the first time today and WOW, talk about a beauty. I don't know MaryBeth, I'm kinda crushing on a 930 and I'm looking. I wasn't so much interested in another phone beyond the 1520 but when I saw the 930 up close and thought about what WinXM would look like on it? Oh man, I got a mad crush. :)

What a tough life I have. I have a 930 and I'm kind of wishing I had a 1520. I feel like the 930 is so thick that it's just as cumber sum to use one handed as a phablet is. So why not have the extra battery life, sd card, and screen size.

I actually like the "chunkiness" of my 930. Feels so solid. I'm so wanting that big screen 1520, though. Must resist.

If one of you guys can't resist the allure of the 1520, let me know. I'll have an unlocked (black) and an 830 to get rid of.

OK, group therapy. With 3 capable devices sitting here, you convinced me to go back to the 930. Reread the thread, but read your posts as though I wrote them, and mine as though you did.
LMAO! You're right. Seriously, I wouldn't trade my 930 for anything. I've never enjoyed using a phone so much. I'm an admitted phone junkie, though, so I'm always tempted by something.

Ha! Explains why I have these three. I do a little buying//selling, but I bought these all with the purpose of keeping one.

I also have a couple 1020's, another 830, a couple Icons, a couple 920's, and I'm trying to get another 635.

I can make a case to myself why any of them should be my daily - even the 635.

I gotta get past it though, because I think I remember from Cash Flow 101 that, at some point, some should come back in!

To be honest, after I bought my 930 I kinda wanted a 1520 because of the bigger screen and same specs. Memory is not a problem for me since 32 GB is more than enough for me. I still wanna hold the 1520 and try it for a while, but I doubt that I'd change my 930 for it. Only thing I like more is the bigger screen, nothing else.
You're quite lucky to have so many phones to chose from. :)

To throw a wrench in the overall group thinking, I have a 1520 and it's just wonderful for gaming and Netflix watching with it's awesome screen. Also, it's the only device that I can pair with my Roku to project my screen into the TV. I just love it!

I have been thinking that 1520 screen is too big. But, I think I may test drive it for a few days to see how it feels in actual use, then decide.

I once used a 1020 while I sent in my 1520 for warranty repairs, and the difference was heaven and earth. The battery on my 1520 lasts almost two days with fairly heavy use, and, did I mention the glorious screen?

Having never owned 2 of 3 my opinion may seem biased. Anyway.
I own a 1520. I admit, at first it was bulky and hard to get used to coming from a 928. But now, my wife's Note4 feels tiny. And if I take off my case, it feels so small. You seem to have already made up your mind. And no one can decide for you, but I'd have to go with the 1520. The all day battery... The big screen... And I use the qi charger at home a lot. The lack of LTE would kill the 930. Why carry 2 phones when the 830/1520 covers the need? So between the locked 830 and the unlocked 1520? Sell the 1520(cause you said you have no money). But id still go with the 1520. I wouldn't carry multiple phones. I did, I hated it. And the 830.. I'm sure its a good phone. Just not my size.
