Icon upgraded to Windows 10 without Denim?

I have the issue of "blacks not black" on the Lumia Icon Denim update. I was wondering if i use the WPRTool to roll back to the initial update to Windows Phone 8.1 can i upgrade to Windows 10 mobile without going all the way up to Denim first? This would be an excellent fix to those who have this blacks not being black problem on Windows 10 who are on the Denim Firmware update. I used the WPRT on my 822 to get build 10136 because that was a requirement to upgrade to the latest build. But thats not the Icon and i think it said welcome to Lumia Cyan but am not 100% on that. Or am i mistaken and the WPRT only rolls back the OS but will keep the firmware version as Denim?

Unfortunately, no. The WPRT will just reinstall WP8.1/Denim. Once Verizon sent out the update, all previous OS and firmware versions were no longer available. So you can't roll back to either WP8.0/Black or WP8.1 DP/Black. Additionally, the Icon never got the Cyan update, it went straight from WP8.0/Black to WP8.1/Denim.
