Why isn't my calendar displaying events, live tile fine?

Calendar not displaying events, live tile fine

I have a Lumia 925 syncing to an exchange server and Hotmail. Until recently all my events showed up in my calendar. Now, opening the app reveals a completely empty calendar, it must be syncing because the events show up on the live tile. Only the exchange calendar is set to sync and I've tried removing the calendar sync and reasoning it with no effect. Any ideas?

This has happened in my L1020 around three or four times already. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the cause is, but all my calendar items were restored after restarting my phone.

Hence, it may just be a glitch with the Calendar app. It may not be associated with any synchronization process since that process seems to be not disruptive, i.e. if I make changes to my calendar.live.com it gets sync-ed to the calendar in my phone without the disappearing issue.

Therefore, simply try restarting your phone whenever that happens and see if this restores your calendar items.
