well i'd try switching off apps in the background,maybe it'd help somewhat...

well actually I switched off apps in the background last night ..just whatsapp and weather were running in the background but what's funny is that this time battery dropped 11% in just 7 and a half hours so maybe something is wrong with my cellphone or battery I guess...

^^ Can you try the same test on airplane mode and report back? If it's just 2-3% then it's your phone/network/apps.

yaah i'll give that a shot...I also have reset my phone because I've seen it solved battery drain issues for some. let's see how it pans out after a day and i'll report back

and I gave airplane mode a shot and surprisingly percentage drop was just 54% from 55% in 10 hours

Well whatsapp consumes background for me too when task is enabled. so it's no surprise that you are losing battery...

well...so far things have been good but i have always wondered about a thing since i bought lumia and that is my network signals are never stable ...i do have an android and signals are stable on that one all the time.is there a defect with my cellphone or is it normal for lumia to have unstable signal strength?
