Temperamental Tap to Wake on the Lumia 730

I just got my girlfriend a Nokia Lumia 730. She loves it and works like a charm.

I observed however, that Tap to wake on this device is temperamental. It works sometimes and sometimes it does not.

My Lumia 1520 and especially my Lumia 822 is much more responsive.

Is this the same on other Lumia 730's?

Yes even in my L730 it gives same issue from I purchased it....

When it is in your pocket, it automatically disables itself so you wont think about it turning on and off accidentally. It takes like 10 seconds to adjust so... i hope this helps

With GDR2 it works a bit better. Still not as good as on the 640, where double taps almost never fail.

Same on 735, and its not related to being disabled in pocket... can be sitting screen up on counter for hours and won't wake with tap on a regular basis. Other times it works. It fails often enough that typically don't even use the feature just hit the power button now.
