hey guy's and gal's I just got the 830 with 8.1 I thought there's was another OS update out.
8.1.2 / or something like that cortana is not working on the one . if there's was one a update were can I get it

Could you go to your phone settings > about and share with us the exact OS Version that your L830 is running? - so we can determine if that's the latest official release or not. Just the same, you may want to check for updates in your phone settings and see if it starts downloading anything.

With regards to Cortana, make sure that the phone region is set to US (UK and India might work, but I set mine to US to be sure).

depends on which version you have (983, 984, or 985). They have released a random reboot patch recently - could be that.

There may be something else causing Cortana to not function, what are you trying to do? Even with the update 2, some Cortana features don't work with the 830, like Hello Cortana.

well I got it to work I did a hard reset and took off windows 10 the screen was just to choppy for me .
I need it work pretty well when I'm at work it was 220.00 so I should have know better. and not purchase on price
the 930 is 350.00, 120.00 more oh boy. so either this or get a BB which i really don't think I want
