Can a Verizon 735 be unlocked to use on other networks?

Does anyone know if you can unlock the 735 for Verizon and use it on another network (that isn't Verizon)? I have see a post around the forums saying that the Icon was able to be unlocked and used on T-mobile. It makes me wonder if it's possible to do the same for the 735, somehow or is it just too "new"?

By law, all Verizon brand phones are sold unlocked. Verizon to protect themselves and discourage owners from moving to another carrier does something to SMS services to not work right and restrict their exclusive model's radios inside. You can still use it on other carriers by it not fully functional like the Verizon iPhone is.

Hmm okay, thank you.
