charge port broken

hi guys my phones charge port wont charge if ı dont bend the cable up its a problem with the charge port ? can ı do some thing alone becouse of my school ı cant give my phone to rapair it will take too long and ı dont have time. thank you for your answers
(ı tried diffrent chargers and plugs)

Sounds like a broken charging port.

It's better that you take it to a microsoft service center near you. Part replacements are generally done quickly. I am telling this from experience.
I broke my 640XL's screen, and gave it for repair and the phone came back in less than 3 hours.

I would advice against doing much yourself. Chances are, you could mess it up, fix one problem and encounter another one in the process.

Edit: The speed also depends on whether they have the part available with them or not.
