4k video unreliable? Is it beta or something?

Anyone having video set to 4k and have had an issue where you recorded minutes of footage, but on rare occasions it will only capture video for the first few seconds/minutes? So when recording everything seems fine, but when you play it back you find that 3/4th of the video is missing, where only audio has been captured. Is 4k a beta thing, or is the camera just ****e unreliable?

might be something to do with your storage memory running short

not at all, there is more than enough storage space on such occasions. After recording a failed video without me knowing it I have always been able to record another video succesfully right after that. This really pisses me off though, sometimes I don't get a second chance to record something, already lost one such moment because it didn't record it properly.
