Problem with downloading 4GB+ movie/file in Windows phone 8.1 IE.

Hi

I am currently using WP8.1 with update 2 in Lumia 930. I want to download a movie with size of 4gb+. However it give me an error where "We can't download this file because your phone is out of space.....".

But I have 20GB + storage in my phone. Is that IE limit the download size? Or can I change it? I am using WiFi to download.

I tried with less than 2GB file, it works! How come 4gb cannot?

File size limit 4Gb is maximum

No it's a hard OS Limit so either re encode the file to a more friendly size or split it in 2. If you encode it sensibly in H264 at 1080p25 it should give you at least 3hrs worth of video.
