Battery not charging and the only "fix" is a fire hazard

So I have a 520 that is only 16 months old. Of course that gets rid of the warranty - funny how the junk falls apart after the warranty is gone.

Googling a quick search for this shows people shoving PAPER under the battery because the battery is apparently too shallow and doesn't touch the prongs/pins properly disallowing for a proper charge. This would be a MANUFACTORING ERROR. And a potential fire risk at that.

So how do I go about getting this crap company to get me a new phone seeing as the problem is THEIRS.

Well, I had a 521 and the volume but to stopped working.

It was a soldering flaw that separated the buttons from the board.

My warranty was gone by then. The T-Mobile assholes didn't give two ****s about my phone, so I was stuck without buttons for half a year, until I got a 640.

I know this doesn't help your issue, and I don't know who's gonna fix your problem. I was just venting on how poorly put together the device was.
