Cautious optimism

So I went Friday afternoon to the AT&T store to get my 950, and by 3:30 p.m. They were sold out of the black ones. While talking to the guy (who actually wasn't trying talk me out of a windows phone), I asked if now that AT&T owned DirecTV if there was any word if the DirecTV app would finally get updated. He said the Microsoft rep had been there that morning and told them a DirecTV universal app is in the works that is supposed to have all the functionality of the iOS and android apps. He also said that store was putting in a second windows phone display (the first being right as you walk in the door). So I went back this morning to see if they had gotten any more black phones in and in the course of conversation the rep told me sales if the 950 had been very strong so far. Hopefully, maybe this is the beginning of Microsoft turning things around.

This! When I got my first windows phone on sprint a couple of years ago, the guy tried to talk me out of it because "everyone that gets one returns it". So I bought it online instead.
