Icon shoiwng no SIM for SIM2?

On the top left next to the LTE and Wifi icons I have an icon for SIM2 with slash through it. I have searched through notifications and icons and do not see any setting to turn this icon of from displaying. Does anyone know how to remove this? Is this showing on everyone else's display because it is a dual SIM?

You can't turn off the second SIM icon on a dual SIM phone so far.

I was wondering the same. Seems kind of annoying but I guess I can live with it.

If I add a sim card to the second slot will that remove the icon? The icon with a slash annoys me to no end. meh
