Why can I not get Outlook on my Lumia 640 xl on Windows 10 mobile?

can not get outlook on my lumia 640 xl on wind 10 mobile

i install win 10 mobile on my lumia 640 xl....when i sign in with my microsoft account,for outlook i get message that everuthing is ok ,but when i open outlook for my emails i see nothing....no account

that is odd. My son's 640 on latest W10M had a similar problem recently. Rather than doing a hard reset I added the outlook email account manually under Settings/Your Email and Accounts. I added it as Other account with pop/smtp settings (pop3.live.com and smtp.live.com). Check all authentication and SSL.
Other option is to do a hard reset and NOT recover from a backup to eliminate setting issues from a backup.

I had exact same problem after upgrading to 10. Had to do a reset to fix it.
