Can I get some help setting up my Lumia 435?

i am trying to set up a lumia 435 for my son for xmas i have set up my family, added him as a child he's accepted request etc but still can't download apps???? says to set up my family, how do you log out and log in again on phone etc to refresh

Add your child account to your account in my family settings and some where in setup page you get to filter apps to be downloaded or purchased(age rating),permissions.After making all the changes to your kids account from parent sign in to kids account in your WP device.All changes are applied automatically.No need to refresh,a restart or just sync account in settings.
