How do I sign out of the Microsoft account on my phone?

how do i sign out of the microsoft account in my phone

i am exchanging my lumia 1320 for another phone . but how do i sign out of the microsoft account from my phone. Again i would like to sign in with the same account in my new phone. how to go about it?

Simple reset, settings, about, reset. Does a hard reset so back up hat you need.

First, make a backup: Settings > backup > apps + settings > backup now

Reset your outgoing phone...

Settings > about > reset your phone > do NOT go through the setup process, that is for the next user


When you setup your new phone sign in with the same Microsoft Account. You may restore from backup or start fresh. I prefer to start fresh if it is a different model, YMMV.

By simply signing in with your same Microsoft Account you will get all your messages, App ownerships, etc. Connect to all the services you used with the same log ins.
