    My Lumia 640 screen went black with the os still working behind it. I sent it off to an authorized service center as per instructions from microsoft. I sent it on 12-21-15 and they received it on 12-28-15. It is now 1-6-16 and the status of the repair on microsoft's site says it is still not received into the service center.......so I'm just wondering if I should continue to wait or call either the service center or microsoft. What do you think?

    I believe I got mine back in 7 days total time (might have been 10). Maybe there is a longer wait because of holidays though. You have a documented trail which is good and you're covered. Definitely call/email about the status.
