W10M - WiFi Secure, Authenticator, Device Encryption for L950/950XL

W10M features: and how they affect Battery drain.

Random hardware addresses for WiFi. L950/950XL only.
Authenticator.
Device Encryption.

Noticed, that enabling Random hardware addresses causes way longer to connect WiFi.

So how these features affect phone and speed, interference with apps, specially battery drain and etc.? and what exactly they do.

Device encryption should be totally unrelated to data transfer over network, local memory access could be influenced a little.
Authenticator (if you mean the app) is only a way of sending one-time passwords to trusted devices, no side effects.
Random hardware addresses shouldn't cause any delay or reduced speed, but the implementation may be buggy
