Hi guys! I use lumia 640 and really happy to have this phone. One question i care, what do you think about camera? I think the camera of this phone is pretty good for its money. I would like to ask, is somebody can say me, which has camera better, lumia 640 or iPhone 4s/5(i think they have the same modules, isn't it?)? 4s has larger sensor, but lumia has larger aperture. What's better?

Ok, it's good, but why do you think so? Could you explain? :)

Manual controls, you can change shutter speed, iso, exposure, focus etc
I've never seen an iphone much less used one so I can't comment on that

So, Sergey, if you care for some logic, you see that Chintan's reply has zero value. He never dealt with iPhone but states Lumia camera is better, while not having any ground for his statement.
On my side, I can't reply as I never dealt with iPhone as well.
I had a chance to compare shots made in same (low-light) conditions by 640 and Samsung S6 edge+, and Samsung totally blew 640 away. But we are talking about 5-6x price difference here.

Edit: those shots were made with flash. So big factor was flash strength. Anyway, I'm talking about the end result.

For the price of the 640, you get a great camera and with easily accessible manual controls. It costs 140USD or thereabouts
Iphone 4 or 5 costs upward of 350USD.

    You do the maths here

The reason for the link is pictures, captured with both devices. Information not delivered in this thread before that.
Maybe you can take some photos with all auto, manual and iPhone so we can compare true results?

I'd still take a camera which takes good pictures with all auto than a camera that can be set up in manual mode to take good pictures :)

It's good to have some control over camera (I believe iPhone 5 camera may also have some settings, at least it has HDR), I use them when there is time and need. Still I'd give up some "pro" settings for control over noise reduction and sharpening. Both missing from MS and Lumia camera - manual, pro or not ;)

I believe manual settings are used for shots that aren't the norm like long exposures or getting a particular effect like bokeh. Auto works just as well.

Thanks for the link, Kimmo. One very important feature that can't be shown, though, is focusing speed.
