My L620 fell yesterday and broke my screen. its around three years old n battery life isn't that good either... have to charge it two times a day when using internet. I talked to my friend and he said that mobile companies do not deliver original batteries, touch screen etc... they only deliver original accessories... so i was thinking why should i go to authorized service center when even they will give me duplicate touch on triple price. and i also think even if i get original touch then price wouldn't worth it. I'm from India and i have no idea how much will be the cost. so i need suggestions... should i pull the plug or get a new touch?

I think by the time you will have had a new screen and battery the cost will not be that short of a new phone, especially if you get decent parts.
As the 620 isn't a high end phone I'd be tempted to replace it.
