Lumia 1520 Camera button no longer launches the camera or takes pictures

Hi, a few weeks ago i noticed that the camera button on my 1520 no longer worked. Ive tried doing soft and hard resets and it doesnt seem to make a difference (running latest .164 win 10 mo). When i click the button in the camera app it will focus the camera but not take a picture and i cant launch the camera using that button at all.

Any suggestions? (no warranty) Ill be taking it apart to add a qi coil in the future anyway, but I just thought i would see if anyone here had suggestions.

I got some type of message when I hit the camera button..."camera stopped working" or something like that. I ended up getting another camera off eBay, took it apart, swapped them out, & that fixed the problem.
