    It really isn't possible at this point. I've certainly not heard of anyone doing it.

    No. For several reasons. Number one being Android (as you mean it) is closed source and you would have to install an unsupported version of AOSP instead. Most manufacturers also "lock" something called the "bootloader" so that the phones can only run whatever is sent with them from the factory.

    You wouldn't want to run Android or AOSP on a Lumia 535 either. You get truely horrible experiences with anything else than the top tier of Android-phones.

    and also since the bootloader on the 535 is locked down.

    Just get an Android phone, that'll work well. (just not a bargain bin one)
