Lumia 640 T-Mobile windows 10

The "We're trying to determine if your phone can support windows 10" is a bit of an odd message though given the Lumia 640 is one of those that obviously does support Windows 10. I am now reading others seeing a different message that they are working with their carrier and phone manufacturer to make the update available. I would've thought ours would say similar.

I've got a T-Mobile Lumia 640 that's been on Insider Preview builds for a while and when I check it tells me the phone is already up to date, which is what is supposed to happen according to Microsoft. Are the rest of you on 8.1?

Funny enough I originally got that message with the Upgrade Advisor app, and I'm on 8.1 ie never been on insider preview, and then today there was an update and then it became a Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor.

I reached out to T-Mobile on twitter, gave me the usual link to software support page....
Ah the usual "We're not gonna tell you because then we're committed, so you can find out by trial and error".

At the speed T-Mobile works we might finally get this upgrade in another 3 months :eck:

It's a 2 week software test period for them. So I'm wondering when did they receive the software to test?

Do they see that only they are delaying?

I think I'll go and get it thru insider and then switch to production. Is it the same?
I was getting to the point of just getting through insider as well but thought that having waited this long, I may as well give T-Mobile the benefit of the doubt and see if it turns up in the next week or so.
