my nokia lumia 640 xl shows tht lock due to sequrity reason connect ur device to power unit for 2 hours and try again but my phone battrey percent is 100

This had happened to my phone a week ago. Follow the steps below to unlock your phone. Be informed that this method will only work if you had enabled Find my phone on your mobile with your primary Outlook email address (the one which you used to sign in your phone while setting it up initially).

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices and sign in using your primary email address and select your phone which is locked on that page. Then click the Find my phone link. On the next page, click Lock. This option will let you set a new 6-digit PIN for your phone. After setting it, your phone will be automatically restarted and after starting up, it'll ask for a PIN. Enter the 6-digit PIN you had set previously and your phone will successfully unlock.

It is a long method but surely doesn't take 2 hours.

Hoping now to see an end to other issues I've had since upgrading to Windows 10 a couple of days ago. Most annoying is constant restarts for no apparant reason. e.g. I just go to settings and the phone restarts. Not every time but enough to be very frustrating. I don't take/make a lot of calls, so I'm yet to find out if this is going to happen every time!
