Abnormal storage space usage by Apps on 640 & 640 XL

Hi, I'm facing storage space usage by apps on Windows 10 mobile on my 640 & 640 xl which are on Threshold and Redstone build respectively. Kindly go through this article I have detailed out everything here wit screenshots.

what the social media apps seem to be doing is storing a local cache of their data on the phone. It has been there for a while. Simplest way to free up that storage is to uninstall the apps and then install them back. That should clear up a lot of space

what the issue is which was not present in windows phone 8 or 8.1 .. a unresolved windows 10 mobile bug.

Had this happen with the built-in photo app and the only solution was a hard reset. It used up 1Gb on my wife's 640XL even though everything was pointing to the sdcard and there was nothing in the device folders.
