Selfie Stick help

I bought a selfie stick from an online shop, and am trying it now on my lumia phone

I connected the jack,and when I press the button, I get the volume control for headphones.

does anyone know what I should do so it works via use of the button?

As far as those who make most selfie sticks, and most other gadgets for that matter, Windows simply does not exist.

Done, when i try it with Lumia Selfie....pressing the button I get the headphone sound volume increase

I think it might have to be connected with Bluetooth?

its one which connects with audio jack... with cable

I think only BT sticks work with WP. I got an audio-jack selfie stick as a gift and I couldn't get it to work on my 735 nor my mom's 640 XL on both 8.1 and 10. BT selfie stick (GoGen I think) we bought later works fine.

yep, only the stiks that have BT work with our Lumias
