Windows Central Question

I upgraded from win 10 build 10586.495 to build 14393.5 on Lumia 1020 using vcREG and CustomPFD method, and I want to Factory Reset for better performance and to solve maybe the brightness, glance screen and some camera issues

I want to ask you the followings before doing hard reset:
1- Do you advise me?
2- After factory reset, on which OS I will be? the 10586.495 that I was on before installing Redstone,
or it will take me to win 8.0 or stay on Redstone ?
3- Is there any risk to go back to win 8 and failed to upgrade to win 10 either on insider after releasing the windows 10 Redstone preview as they mentioned in the latest news ?
4- Can I unlock Boot loader via WPinternal from my current Redstone Build ?

Please reply back before any further step
Thank you,

Thank you,

check this article for more info http://forums.windowscentral.com/nokia-lumia-1020/428816-redstone-1020-a.html?_ga=1.169671204.445120255.1468753560

But for q no 2, factory reset will keep the same OS, it won't down grade your phone

Factory reset does not change your OS version. You only reset your personal data and settings. I don't think you can use WPInternals with a Redstone build (not listed in the supported OS versions on the website).
It won't fix brightness or glance screen

okey 10x I did the reset and stayed at redstone 14393.5 but the registry values that I changed to install the Redstone are reset too ? what will happen now ? I will not receive other builds for 14393 ? or should I change these values again? although I cannot deploy the CustomPFD_0600 anymore ? and finally there is an update for extra+info is it risky to update in this situation ? please advise and thank you again

Do not update Extras+Infos. Ever!
Yes, your registry settings also revert when you do a hard reset.
You won't any new builds without changing your registry again.
You don't need CustomPFD, you can install "Interop Tools" in Developer Mode and change registry settings there.
