640XL or 950?

My Nokia 830 got bricked during ATT's WM10 OTA update last week. I'm away on vacation, the closest ATT store is 40 miles away. I need a phone now, they have the in stock the 640XL and the 950. Those are my only choices for a Windows phone. This will be a transitory stopgap new phone for me pending some new premium type devices coming out later this year or early next. I'm inclined to go with the 640XL based on reviews and price. Wondering what folks here think about the 640XL vs. 950 choice at this point in time? Thanks.

640 XL is cheaper so...

If it's only a stop gap then the 640XL is your man.

If you are itching the try out Continuum with a much higher spec phone and you don't mind spending probably more than double, the 950 or 950XL are the best Windows phones on the market at the moment.

I would rather go with the 950, to fulfill the full W10 experience and your getting a high end device and the best camera
