Lumia 930, 1520, 950 & 950XL users - Slow Motion @1080p and with Audio is not yet enabled or activated and I believe I have seen very less almost 4 or 5 UPVOTES for it in the feedback hub so requesting every Lumia 930,1520,950 and the 950XL guys to upvote as its a wonderful feature where we can make amazing videos

Hi,
Well...in fact there is... kind of :)

Lately (probably on the last camera update or so), you can have slow motion with sound....

Bare with me on this:
- Pressing the "turtle button"... 720p till the max of 120fps and NO sound --> nothing new on this :)
- Normal video (if defined as 1080p AND 60fps), you can edit it as a slow motion and you have the sound (this is new...at least for me )

I'm guessing not all phones will support the 1080p in a 60fps. I'm using an 950XL and I can try it on my other 930 to see if works too.

I know that 60fps is not the optimal setting for slow motion, but the quality is much better than the "normal" slow motion setting, and the sound is fun...and as bonus, you can still retrieve some photos from the slow motion with a 1080p quality.

I hope it helps.

120fps it's only enabled when you use the "turtle button"...but it's less video quality and no sound.

Thank you, but I guess its for 720p(ignore my technical skills if I am wrong) adn heard if the turtle button gives an output with 1080p which i I beleive MS has to enable it then the quality of the Video output will be much more enhanced, correct me if I am wrong.

And what Video editors do you recommend if I am trying to do the 1080p with 60fps for slow motion and adding a music(free)?

While Microsoft don't improve the slow motion mode (turtle button), my advice is to use the 1920x1080p (60fps) to capture quality video with slow motion capabilities.
This way you can retrieve nice video, nice still photos from the video and quite reasonable slow motions.

to edit the videos on the phone, I use the Movie Creator Beta from Microsoft.

here is an example with a 10min effort.

Checked the camera on my Icon, but I can't get 1080p @ 60fps, even with 720p it maxes out at 30fps. No matter the resolution, from 720p to 4K, they all have 24/25/30 fps

I checked on my 930...and the same result as you had...
So the only chance is to use the "turtle" button... which makes a "low quality" video 1280x720p 120fps (in both 950 XL and 930/Icon)

It's a pity that the camera is not pushed to the limits on the 950XL (I'm almost sure they could put 1920X1080p 120fps and with sound) and also on the 930..at least the 60Fps with sound.

Let's see what the next camera upgrade brings.

950 and 950XL is the same:

- 1080p 60fps (which allow to make slow motion with sound AND retrieve nice photos from the video)
- 720p 120fps (turtle button) which allow smooth slow motion (and more refined in very fast moving objects) but less quality to retrieve photos. and no Sound

930/Icon
- 1080p 30fps only --> no slow motion here
- 720p 120fps (turtle button) --> same features and drawbacks as the 950 and 950XL stated above
