wanting to come back via 930

hey guy's I can get a 930 on amazon for less then 100.00 not much but less I have a credit over that if I don't use will be use for foolish stuff. will the 930 get windows 10 I know it won't get VOLTE I'm with t mobile. and no storage card concern #one.
I don't have a lot apps any way and windows don't have a lot to choose from so we are even. I read some were use a thumb dr.?
so is a good buy in 2016. I read so post that it killed your mics windows 10 the 950 is to much for now.

the 930 is officially upgradeable to windows 10 mobile and is still supported. The mic issue affects some users, say a handful. It won't get VOLTE I think. USB OTG isn't available for the 930 due to hardware limitations

battery life has never been the greatest so be warned about that. But the price is really good. You can't even find a lumia 540 at that price in my country :sweaty:

I do have the mics issue which is a hardware thing and is not resolved in W10 Mobile. However, I installed W10 and my experiences on the Lumia 930 are very positive in general. Generally apps feels more integrated. Also, background app execution has been significantly improved (in W8 i could not run a workout tracking app fot sports because it would not be allowed to run for a longer time in the background, but no issue anymore in the W10 version). Battery life seems to have improved slightly as well, although the 930 still has a somewhat mediocre battery life. I kept my 930 to follow up on W10 improvements. You can install W10 on it using the upgrade assistant app which can be loaded from the Store. So worth to give a try I think ...

Lumia 930 battery life is worse on Windows 10 compared to Windows 8.1. I've recently downgraded my L930 back to Windows 8.1 & noticed a remarkable increase in battery life. Plus Hey Cortana is now working again.
