10586.682 has brought my M8 back to life! I had pretty much written it off on the last up date with constant reboots and horrific battery life. I actually had not charged in over a month - just threw it in a drawer. Pulled it out last night, charged it and updated this morning. So far so good! running smooth and fast. If you haven't done it yet you should!.
