Re: Cube WP10 $119.99 at Gearbest...
Well, according to the specs, these are the bands that the phone uses:
GSM+WCDMA+FDD LTE*
2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz*
3G: WCDMA 2100MHz*
4G: FDD-LTE 1800/2100MHz
AT&T bands:
AT&T 2G and 3G 850/1900Mhz bands
AT&T 4G HSPA and HSPA+ 850/1900Mhz bands.
AT&T LTE 700/850/1900/1700/2100Mhz bands.
I'm no expert on this, so I may be totally wrong. But, if what I've found is correct, it looks like the phone will operate on the 2G and 3G frequencies at most. You have one band that the phone is listed as covering in the 4G category, but I'd be skeptical that that one band would be enough. From my experience with these Chinese phones with these bandwidths listed, they work ok as phones but horribly as data devices. I've owned three Huawei X2s (Mediapad and Honor variants). They are basically the same phones and all have had basic 3G frequencies covered, but only one worked with AT&T. The other two were identical to the one that worked, but would not function correctly on AT&T's data freqs. Neither myself nor AT&T could figure out why. With Cube's spotty reputation and pretty lame support of their products, I'd be willing to bet that using it as a phone/data device outside of their target market would be a rough experience. Having said that, I'd still love to get it and play around with it.
Again, I'm not an expert. I'm sure someone here knows more about this that I do.
