Too bad his review unit was still on Threshold version 107. Had he reviewed one on the AU it would have been a great review.

Unless... Maybe he had a sample unit. I believe that 10586.107 was an RTM for quite some time.

Except the reviewer didn't harp on the OS. The Idol has been universally applauded by actual users for having excellent battery life and a bright display. As has been mentioned above by owners of this fine device, the review unit this guy had must have been defective.

My screen is beautiful! I never run it above 50% brightness, and it looks awesome. The battery life is the best i've ever had on any phone; so impressed!!!

The only time I feel the need to crank it up is outdoors. Otherwise it lives at 65%.
