My dad got a microsoft 535 mobile. He accidently hard reset the phone. And lost all of his contacts. Also he doesnt remember his microsoft email account. Is there any way to get these contacts.

His only option at this point is this.

1) reset his Microsoft Account password.

2) Hard reset the phone again and during setup, opt to restore from backup.

if he's lucky, just resetting the MSA will suffice and then his People apps should sync the contacts once he logs into his MSA on the phone, if he saved them to his MSA account.

If he's like me, I saved my contacts to my GMAIL account on my 950XL. So when I add my email in Outlook app on the phone, my contacts sync. Whenever I create/add new contacts, I make sure to tell the phone to save it to my GMAIL account.

That way, when I do webmail, my contacts are there also. Same with MSA if you use Outlook.com webmail.
