WiFi Calling SIM Setting Doesn't Work

On my T-Mobile US Idol 4S and Fierce XL WiFi Calling is turned off in the SIM settings. We’re roaming in Argentina and despite that WiFi Calling is on and works, or at least it's displaying that when I make a phone call. I've tried changing the settings, restarting, etc, with no change.

Has anyone else seen this?

PS: Both on 14393.693.

Possibly... IDK, just speculating...

It might be letting you WiFi because of the free Text and DATA in other countries on your T-Mo plan?

I thought the WiFi Calling was enabled via carrier firmware. I know the FW in the TMO alcatel is behind the unlocked FW. Even though you are not on TMO network, the TMO firmware still allows it.

However, those with an unlocked Alcatel I bet it will not have WiFiCalling.
