Don't do it! You didn't have Dolby enhancement on the 950XL. I suspect you had a 930 or some such before? Unfortunately, this is one of MS's little 'upgrades' where they decided they were better at audio processing than Dolby is (a bit like when they decided they were better at making phones than Nokia...). So, you have an attempt at surround sound over headphones which does not seem to read 5.1 tracks from the source file and instead does something cludgy with the stereo track (or if it does take it from the 5.1 track it makes an astonishing mess of it). Also, you have no option to record in 5.1 when recording videos, despite the phone having the mics and hardware to do so.

Your phone is fine, the hardware is capable, but the MS software is just holding it back. Same old story, unfortunately. I own both the 950XL and the 930 and I really miss the audio features. Feature atrophy is just one of the things you'll have to get used to with each Windows release, it's the Microsoft way.
