Lumia Icon vs Lumia 735 on Verizon

I have a Lumia Icon with Verizon but I'm running out of memory for storage of music and pics. I'm pretty happy with Verizon in my area and I'm thinking of buying the 735. As a replacement for general use. I'll keep the icon and I have a Lumina 950 the I use for pictures. I know the 735 is a bit older, but can it work ok on windows 10 and perform somewhat as well as the icon?. Thanks for your help guys. One thing that I would hope for is the use of a mobile hotspot feature. I use that with the Icon on occasion and it is a minimum requirement for my phones
