Why is my Lumia 735 phone deleting past events from my calendar?

It seems that my Lumia 735 running Win10 has just started past calendar events. If I look at my calander, only the current month's events are visable. If I go to the April view all events are gone. I don't beleive I changed anything.

I think in the relevant account settings that there is an option to store past events up to a certain date. I currently have it on 6 months but I believe the default is keeping the past 1 month in memory. If you can see those events on another source like a webpage then this is likely the case.

All WP, all versions, sync past single events for about two or three weeks back.
They are still on your outlook.com calendar, just not synced.

What is synced.
◦ Two weeks of past single-instance (non-recurring) events.
◦ All future single-instance events.
◦ All recurring events that have occurrences within the last two weeks or anytime in the future.
