I have a T-Mobile 635 that I use once in a while for throwaway video in certain environments, etc. It's a cool little phone - I think I broke the phone sim slot so I can't really do anything with it as a spare but it still works so I keep it around - I may put videos on it for my baby.
I turned it on to play with it today and I'm getting unbelievably slow wifi performance. Speed Test reports 1.61Mbps download and 0.59 upload. All other devices connected to this Linksys AC1900 router are fast. Is there something I can look at for this device to make wifi work faster or am I just hosed.
It's T-Mobile so it's stuck at whatever version they sent out last. Is there any way to unlock this so I can get the last and best 8.1 version?
