I'm hoping someone can help me with Bluetooth issues on the HP Elite x3.

I had turned off some of the HP native apps from running in the background on the phone which probably affected Bluetooth connections. After the phone would no longer connect with my car, I turned the HP native apps back on to run in the background. At first after doing this, the phone recognized the car and I started pairing but the connection failed. I restarted the phone and tried again to no avail. The phone doesn't recognize the Bluetooth in the car.

Does anyone have a possible solution?

First things first, turn off bluetooth and do a soft reset. After the phone restarts, turn bluetooth back on and see if it recognizes your car.

Thank you, I did that and it recognizes the car. It connected briefly then disconnected itself again. My entire phone book is loaded into the car's display but when I go to settings in the phone, then in bluetooth, it recognizes the car and says that it's paired. But again when I go to connect it, it says couldn't connect, please try again.
