Battlefield 4 XBox One upgrade

I want to get Battlefield 4 for my 360 because I know a few people who have it and aren't getting an XBox One. I noticed that the PS4, you can keep the PS3 disc and pay $10 to use it in the in PS4. Few sites say it's for the 360 to One upgrade, but I wanted to see if anyone knows anything about it. Most retailers require you to turn the game in and I was really hoping to keep the 360 disc. The website says,

"Do I need to keep my PS3 or Xbox 360 disc if I upgrade?
You must have the PlayStation 3 Battlefield 4 disc in your PlayStation 4 in order to play BF4 on PS4 (or Xbox 360 disc in your Xbox One)."

I'm wondering if I get the 360, can I use the 360 disc and buy the One version for $10?

With COD:Ghosts, you had to buy the digital download in order to quality for this discounted upgrade to the Xbox One version, physical media wasn't included in that offer.

You'll have to look on the BF4 website for Xbox One upgrade details.

Yeah, there was apparently a 2-in-1 where you bought both copies at the same time for $70 for Ghosts.

I got that quote from the website. I'm wondering if people with a 360 copy have seen the code in the box, because that's the only reference I've seen about it.

Originally, it just said ps4, but if I can keep the 360 disc and play on the One for $10, I would have bought it by now.

It depends on whether the game was bought at a "participating retailer". I got mine through the EA staff shop, it didn't have an Xbox One code/voucher inside.
