How can I get my Xbox One to connect to Onedrive to access pictures as my background?

So I am rather frustrated that the Xbox One cannot connect to by Onedrive to access pictures to use as my background. With that in mind I figured the next best thing would be to setup a HomeGroup and access them that way. Problem I have is that when I select my Surface from the Media Player it says it cannot find any files........but I can see that they are added to the shared library......

Anyone had success accessing media on an Xbox One via a HomeGroup?
