EA Access Games After Ending Subscription

My understanding, with Games With Gold, is that, after ending your subscription, you can continue playing the games you installed.
Does EA Access work, that way, or can you only play them, while you're subscribed?

If you buy them - yes you can play them after your subscription runs out.

If you're just playing them from the vault then no you will not be able to play them after your subscription runs out.

Games with gold on the 360, you can play the game without gold.
